Xueqiu Jian, PhD, is a genetic epidemiologist with a background in medicine and public health. Dr. Jian’s current research focuses on the identification of heritable factors and characterization of underlying mechanisms influencing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias using genomics and multi-omics approaches in large, representative human samples. He is actively involved in large collaborative Alzheimer’s genomics projects within the Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genomic Epidemiology (CHARGE) consortium, Alzheimer’s Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP), Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine (TOPMed) program, Texas Alzheimer’s Research and Care Consortium (TARCC), International Genomics of Alzheimer’s Project (IGAP) and UK Biobank. He is also the principal investigator of multiple active federal/foundation grants.
