Experts from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) and the Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases at UT Health San Antonio, along with institutions from Italy, Nigeria and Florida, presented research-backed information to over 350 members of the South Texas community at the free event “Memory & Heart Connections.” The event was hosted by UTRGV’s Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research.
